On Sunday June 8, our 10:30 worship will celebrate Pentecost and will be led by our CUCC Youth. It will also be our annual celebration of graduates. Our youth are hard at work preparing for this worship service. Since our theme is Pentecost, we are sharing our understanding that Spirit inspires everyone to speak their own truth and dream their own visions as a way of building sacred community and as a way of continuing Jesus’ ministry. Creativity and imagination are gifts our youth have in abundance. So they have wonderful dreams to share with us about how to inspire one another and how to renew our hope. Through scripture, prayer, and song, our youth will lead us in our worship of God as we celebrate the stirring of spirit within us and among us. Come follow our youth as they express their dreams and encourage us to do the same!
The text we are lifting up is Acts 2:1-21
Since we are celebrating graduates that day too, if you have a graduate in your family, please submit information about where they are graduating from, their degree, and any future plans to Pastor Santi at education.cucc@gmail.com by June 3.
