NewsCUCC Lock-in Group Photo

Ten excited youth and five dedicated adults gathered for a lock-in last weekend. It was loads full of fun and full of connection! We kicked things off with a big spaghetti dinner and a creative new game of introductions. Then a game of charades brought out some surprising acting talent, and a round of Sardines had the whole group laughing in the dark. We settled in with a classic movie – Home Alone, before finally catching a little sleep.
In the morning, we wrapped up with warm cinnamon rolls and stories from the evening. We also made a decision together to donate a Christmas gift to the Helen Wright Center. A wonderful time was had by all and we’re already planning the next lock-in. A special thanks to Sam Woodrum, KayJay Jones, and Zenna Bryan for chaperoning overnight.

Our next event will be to serve dinner to 75 women at the Wright Center on December 21 at 6:30-7:30PM. From more information about our youth program, please contact Santi Matthews at education.cucc@gmail.com.
